How it all started
Our team came together on December 4, 2020.
We did not start as a separate company. We started as an elite team of developers specialising in security inside Functu, a company that builds software for clients. The photo below is from those early days, in front of a wall covered in code.
From a team to a company
Step by step, our team grew stronger and we brought the best experts on board. At the same time, more and more clients came to us for security. That is why Datahorses was set up as a company of its own, founded in the USA. Today, security is all we do.
First the USA, then Europe
Only after that did we set up an entity in Europe. Since then we have been expanding into more countries, always following our clients.

What we do today
The developer background has stayed with us. We know how websites, domains and email are put together, so we know what to watch. Today our team guards companies from the outside, every day, without entering their systems. See what we guard or look at a sample client dashboard.
We are part of the Functu group, founded in 2004 in Sydney.
